Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: July 21, 2026
1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the websites, software, checkout tools, payment tools, subscription services, analytics, integrations, and other services provided by Apptics (“Services”).
This Policy applies to every person or business that accesses or uses the Services. By using the Services, you agree to follow this Policy and all applicable laws, card-network rules, processor requirements, and bank requirements.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Apptics does not control your products, marketing, customer service, fulfillment, refunds, or legal compliance. You are solely responsible for your business and for the actions of your employees, affiliates, agencies, call centers, fulfillment partners, and other third parties working on your behalf.
You must:
Provide accurate and current business information.
Use the Services only for lawful and legitimate business activities.
Maintain clear refund, cancellation, subscription, shipping, privacy, and customer-service policies.
Obtain valid customer authorization before processing a payment.
Follow all applicable privacy, consumer-protection, marketing, and payment laws.
Protect customer and payment information.
Comply with PCI DSS requirements where applicable.
Maintain reasonable fraud-prevention procedures.
Respond promptly to information requests from Apptics or its payment partners.
Keep chargebacks, fraud, refunds, and complaints within acceptable industry limits.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services for:
Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities.
Processing payments without the customer’s permission, charging after cancellation, or charging for products or services not ordered.
Hiding important pricing, subscription, refund, or cancellation terms.
Selling counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods, or infringing copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, phishing, malware, hacking, card testing, unauthorized access, or use of stolen payment information or credentials.
Providing false information or fabricated evidence to customers, banks, processors, Apptics, or in payment disputes.
Any activity involving the abuse, exploitation, or sexualization of minors.
4. Payment Processing and Circumvention
You may not use the Services to process transactions for an undisclosed business or third party. Transaction laundering, factoring, pass-through processing, and undisclosed payment aggregation are prohibited.
You may not use different merchant accounts, business entities, websites, billing descriptors, products, or payment routes to hide the seller, avoid monitoring, limits, reserves, holds, suspension, termination, or prior rejection, or mislead a bank, processor, card network, or customer. Load balancing or routing transactions to manipulate chargebacks is strictly prohibited.
You must notify Apptics before making a major change to your business, ownership, products, pricing, marketing methods, subscription model, website, fulfillment practices, or expected transaction volume.
5. Marketing and Communications
You may only send marketing emails, text messages, phone calls, voice broadcasts, or other communications to people who have provided the consent required by law. You may not use purchased, rented, scraped, or improperly obtained lists; send spam; use misleading subject lines; hide the sender; make unlawful robocalls; ignore opt-outs; or contact do-not-call registrants without permission.
Marketing emails must contain a working unsubscribe link and legally required sender information. You are responsible for affiliates, agencies, influencers, and marketing partners.
6. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing
If you offer subscriptions, memberships, free trials, automatic renewals, continuity programs, or recurring-payment plans, you must clearly disclose the seller, amount and frequency charged, trial length and conversion, commitments, shipping or recurring charges, refund restrictions, and cancellation method before payment information is entered or purchase is completed.
You must obtain clear, informed consent and retain evidence. Cancellation must be at least as easy as enrollment, and future billing must stop promptly after a valid cancellation request.
7. Restricted and Higher-Risk Activities
Some products, services, and business models may require additional review or written approval, including subscription and free-trial offers, affiliate marketing, lead generation, telemarketing, sweepstakes, gambling, gaming, cryptocurrency, adult-oriented services, CBD and supplements, debt relief, financial services, timeshare-exit services, earnings or coaching programs, technical support, and products involving significant health, performance, or income claims.
Approval for one product, website, or business does not approve another. Restricted activities must be disclosed before using the Services for them.
8. Privacy and Security
You must publish and follow an accurate privacy policy, use customer information only for lawful and disclosed purposes, and maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Credentials must be protected and access limited to authorized users.
Notify Apptics promptly of suspected unauthorized access, loss or theft of customer information, payment-data breaches, malware, vulnerabilities, or fraudulent use. You may not scan, test, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Services.
9. Records and Cooperation
You must maintain compliance records and, upon request, provide websites and checkout flows, advertisements, consent records, transaction and fulfillment records, refund and cancellation records, customer-service communications, chargeback evidence, and business and ownership documents.
You must not delete, change, hide, or destroy relevant records while a dispute, chargeback, investigation, legal request, or compliance review is pending.
10. Fraud, Chargebacks, and Refunds
You must maintain reasonable procedures to prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, excessive refunds, and chargebacks; investigate unusual patterns; and take corrective action when requested.
Notify Apptics of significant increases in disputes or complaints, processor or bank suspension, reserves or payment freezes, regulatory or law-enforcement inquiries, relevant lawsuits, or major security and fraud incidents.
11. Monitoring and Enforcement
Apptics may review your account, transactions, websites, marketing, complaints, and use of the Services. For violations or unacceptable risk, Apptics may request information, require corrective action, restrict features, delay or block transactions or payouts where permitted, suspend or terminate accounts, and share relevant information with payment partners, regulators, or law enforcement.
Immediate action may be taken to prevent fraud, consumer harm, security threats, or legal violations.
12. Updates
Apptics may update this Policy for changes in Services, laws, card-network rules, processor requirements, or risk standards. The revised version will carry a new Last Updated date, and continued use after it becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
